N-Methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) is an organic solvent used in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries, particularly in the dissolution of electrodes to produce lithium-ion batteries.

NMP is a hygroscopic liquid at room temperature and is highly recyclable and reusable.
NMP services comes with some challenges, above 86°C (flash point), it emits toxic vapors and can form
explosive mixtures. It present some risks to human health and the environment if not handled properly.
