Liquefied carbon dioxide (LCO2) is a fluid obtained by cooling the CO2 between -35ºC and -15ºC reducing its volume approximately by 600 times.
This operation is extremely important to enhance the storage and transportation efficiency.
LCO2 service comes with some challenges as low temperatures, rapid expansion and fugitive emissions potentially harmful to the end-users.Vinco ball valves are designed to operate in LCO2 service with high levels of tightness, upstream relief system and fugitive emissions resistance to ensure high levels of safety.
